Nature Lecture: Rock Art: The Foxtrot Petroglyphs. Discover the mystery of the enigmatic symbols
left behind by the Indigenous Peoples with Archaeologist John Hale. Hale will focus on his work at the Joshua Tree
“Foxtrot Site” which contains 500 panels of petroglyphs and pictographs. At

tour of the Fullerton Arboretum.
It is suggested that attendees wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water and sunscreen.

5th Annual Desert Garden Tour in Palm Springs
sponsored byThe Desert Horticultural Society of the Coachella Valley.
Maps are available for the self-guided garden tour at Registration. Feast at the many restaurants in the Corridor
Shops area. Carpool at the parking lot behind the Corridor Shops on Alejo. This is a great family event. It’s also
an opportunity to view residential gardens displaying native desert plants and a variety of drought tolerant species.
The tour includes a variety of home gardens from do-it-yourself to professionally designed, from wild and native
to manicured and refined. You’ll get lots of ideas for your garden. Several of the gardens are handicapped accessible.
Free, donations welcomed.
